Most vital specs are STILL false 3 years later BY Alexei M. Sat, 04 Oct 2014 15:35:52 -0400

Pros: Looks nice. Cons: One of the most critical specs -- the clamping voltage -- is completely false. Belkins product page claims its 330V, and hookbag believed this lie. When it arrived, the packaging states 500V clamping voltage. Inspecting the back of it also shows that its rated at 500V, except in the case of L-N, in which case its at 400V. This is maddening There is a review from Steve F posted way back in 2011 which points out the EXACT SAME problem So, 3 years later, Belkin continues to peddle falsely advertised products Too bad I didnt see his review before buying it. Other Thoughts: The two most important specs in a surge protector are clamping voltage and response time. Read up on it, guys. It actually does not take much time to research surge protector basics -- there are several nice websites that describe their function in basic terms and what specs to look for. The fact that this most critical information about surge protectors is often not even listed on sites like hookbag -- or, as in this case, blatantly misrepresented -- is absurd.

peace of mind for cheap BY Matthew P. Tue, 25 Feb 2014 08:49:12 -0500

Pros: works, lots of outlets, cheap Cons: none

Broke quickly, Belkin warrantied it BY Scott H. Thu, 13 Jun 2013 12:36:06 -0400

Pros: It has a surge protector for the cable to my TV, and cable organizers that I never used and are removable if you need extra space for odd shaped plugs. Cons: It broke pretty quickly, one strip stopped working shortly after I got it. Nothing was damaged from the odd malfunction but it was annoying to deal with... Belkin replaced it under warranty, and quickly Other Thoughts: I dont get paid to think...

Awesome protection at awesome price BY The G. Tue, 30 Apr 2013 13:29:20 -0400

Pros: I challenge you to find this level of joule protection with outlets as well as coax protection at this price anywhere else. Cons: none

all is well BY Sharon M. Wed, 05 Sep 2012 20:24:57 -0400

Pros: protects from surges plenty of space for big power blocks Cons: power switch is sensitive... Other Thoughts: I have my router and coax lines on this thing... The last time I had a problem with a power surge, the surge came through the internet line, fried the router, and fried a NIC on one of my computers. After a few replacement parts and this surge protector I am ready to face the power grid again.
